Please click View it in your browser.       Disaster Relief Training 2010 Presented by Sarasota Community Organizations Active in Disaster Saturday June 12th 8:00-4:00 Held at Covenant Life Presbyterian Church 8490 McIntosh Rd Sarasota, FL 34238   If you, your church or organization, or anyone you know is interested in disaster preparation/relief/recovery, come join this training. Whether you are already involved in disaster relief or you just want more information, this training is for you!    Several local, state and national agencies will be participating in this training. They will give you an overview of and insight into what they do before, during and after a disaster strikes. They will provide you with what you as a volunteer can do in conjunction with their agency and then give you more information to get you started. There are opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with the disaster relief process. Information tables will also be set up so that you can converse one on one with someone from the specific agencies.   Lunch and some drinks/snacks will be provided. (Feel free to bring your own drinks/snacks) Attendance limited to the first 50 people to sign up. Registration fee is $5 to cover the cost of some of the food.
