Barnabas House God has called us men to be leaders in our families, our communities and our churches. Unfortunately many of us men have shipwrecked our lives and are living for the world and satan rather than for God and being the leaders that He has called us to be. This is one of the greatest disasters that we face today. We strive to reach out to everyone, everywhere we go, especially while here at home. God has led us to the Barnabas House, a local ministry that houses men whose lives have been shipwrecked. The Barnabas House is an intense men’s discipleship training program. It is a one step program, Jesus! Only He can permanently change lives once we surrender all to Him! Currently there are over 50 men being discipled at Barnabas House. We are just beginning a relationship with these men and have been attending their Monday night Bible studies when we are in town. They are currently between meeting places as the ministry that oversees them, God’s Gifts, is in the middle of moving/remodeling the place where they hold their Monday evening devotions. Tomorrow evening the 27 th, we will be hosting the Bible study at our church, Calvary Chapel, under the sails behind the main church building. We will be serving the Barnabas House guys dinner, then doing some worship and a Bible study. Once the ministry building is complete, we plan on feeding the house at least once a month as it is the only time that all of them have to come together each week and we’d like to break bread with them! I’d like to personally invite you to attend tomorrow nights Bible study and see what the Lord is doing in these men’s lives as He transforms them into the likeness of His Son, Jesus! We will begin dinner around 7 and will feed the house guys first. If there is anything left over, you are welcome to it, but I wouldn’t plan on it! We’d love to see you there, so what are you waiting for! A quick note on Japan. We continue to pray for this nation and the figures keep climbing. We are in contact with a couple of ministries and there is a possibility that I will be joining a team in the near future. I will continue to keep you posted via these emails.
