Ohio Flood Relief-1 We’ve been called to go to Ohio and help with the flood relief efforts that are beginning there. Mary Jo and I will be leaving Florida Friday morning and driving the truck and trailer. Eight or nine guys from the Bowery Mission in NYC will be leaving early Saturday morning to arrive on Saturday evening. Our good and faithful side kick, Chuckles (Chuck) who now resides in OH will also be driving down to join us. We have several homes lined up to begin serving on Sunday morning after devotions. Lord willing we will stay until the following Saturday and head back to be home Sunday evening. We have room for one more person to ride with us from FL to OH and can pick you up anywhere along the way; we are driving straight up I-75 N. We are heading to the Wapakoneta area where we will be serving with four local churches. This area is also the place where one of our good friends, Kevin, is from. We will be helping some in his community and the adjoining ones, including the St. Mary area which was heavily hit. If you are interested in joining us in OH, we will have plenty of room for volunteers as we have two large places for teams to stay. Both have full facilities. Please contact us ASAP if you are interested. We also have other needs such as supplies and funds. If you feel led by the Lord please contact us as well. Most importantly keep all of us and all those affected by the floods in your prayers. Pray that all of us on the team would grow closer to the Lord. Pray then as we become more like Jesus and become His hands and feet that our lives would draw others to the Author and Perfector of our faith and that eternity would be forever changed!
